The “Carmen Caragiu” Academy is an elite school of performing arts where young talents study drama, music and dance; it’s the ideal place for those who aspire to a career in showbiz. The ones who get here have the chance to become movie stars, famous dancers or successful musicians. But, if they fail, they may end up as lap dancers or extras in second-rate movies; or they may never work in showbiz at all. Although 200 candidates pass the exam every year, only 20 of them get admitted. Of these lucky few, 2-3 or maybe only one will reach excellence in arts.
